Responsibilities
- Delight patients with exceptional bedside care and emotional support
- Monitor vital signs and document patient health accurately
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and equipment
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergencies
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Current BLS certification from AHA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality protocols
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
