Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance with patients' activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety
- Document patient care accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Support patients with nutritional needs and meal assistance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent long-term care or acute care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to patient care with empathy
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation systems
