Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs with accurate documentation
- Assist with patient mobility and safe transfer techniques
- Support nurses with clinical procedures and equipment preparation
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and equipment
- Communicate patient observations and concerns to nursing staff
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Kansas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work day/night shifts and weekends
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
