Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with patient activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Accurately measure and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient observations
- Implement specialized care plans under RN supervision for post-surgical and geriatric patients
- Assist with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation protocols
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Utilize electronic health records systems for precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Arizona CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care or long-term care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification from accredited provider
- Proficiency in point-of-care documentation systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper body mechanics
- Exceptional communication skills in English
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
