Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide compassionate emotional support and communication to patients and their families.
- Document patient care plans, intake data, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment in patient rooms and common areas.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA Certification (or LPN/LVN license) in the State of Nevada.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs) as required.
- CPR/First Aid certification is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong empathy and a patient-first attitude.
