Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety
- Deliver meal assistance and maintain accurate dietary documentation
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain clean patient environments
- Support infection control protocols and maintain strict hygiene standards
Qualifications
- Current Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in a long-term care setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
