Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist physicians and nurses with medical procedures, examinations, and treatments.
- Prepare and maintain patient rooms, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond to patient inquiries and ensure the emotional and psychological well-being of patients.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Michigan (active).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist patients with mobility.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
