Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Provide basic wound care and assist with medical procedures as directed
- Support nurses with patient care plans and maintain clean patient environments
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Reliable transportation to various Miami locations
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
