We are looking for individuals who are patient, empathetic, and ready to provide exceptional care in a dynamic city setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, transferring them safely from bed to wheelchair or using walkers.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure holistic care.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and nutritional needs.
- Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.
- Observe and report any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the nursing supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to use electronic medical records systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed throughout the shift.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
