As an Entry Level Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be the heart of our patient care team. Responsibilities
- Patient Hygiene Assistance: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with Mobility: Help patients move safely in and out of bed, wheelchairs, and stretchers, utilizing proper body mechanics to prevent injury.
- Medication & Dietary Support: Support the nursing staff by preparing meals and assisting patients with eating; report any medication reactions or dietary concerns immediately.
- Communication & Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and communicate changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Sanitation & Safety: Ensure patient rooms and common areas are kept clean, sanitized, and safe for all visitors and staff.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required. Completion of an accredited CNA training program is required.
- Certification: Current, unencumbered state licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we welcome Entry Level candidates looking for their first role.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks required in patient care.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
