Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming in a respectful and timely manner.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates accurately.
- Provide personal hygiene care and ensure patient rooms are clean and organized.
- Support nursing staff with basic medical procedures and documentation.
- Respond to patient calls and requests promptly to ensure safety and comfort.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas or for diagnostic procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or enrollment in a CNA program is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help patients.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
