Responsibilities
- Assist with Daily Living: Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with the utmost dignity and respect.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Mobility Support: Assist patients with ambulation and transfers, ensuring proper body mechanics and safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Meal Assistance: Serve meals and assist residents with feeding if necessary, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.
- Communication: Effectively communicate changes in a resident’s condition to the nursing staff and respond to patient calls promptly.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required. CNA Certification from an accredited program is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
- Experience: No previous nursing experience required; we offer comprehensive on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- License: Must possess a valid CNA license or be willing to obtain one through our sponsored training program.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
