Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring them to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties related to patient care.
- Build rapport with patients and their families to ensure a comfortable experience.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required; we offer sponsorship for qualified candidates without certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
