Responsibilities
- Delicate patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Vital sign monitoring and accurate documentation of patient observations
- Mobility support and safe patient transfers using proper techniques
- Assistance with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Collaboration with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care plans
- Maintaining clean, sanitized patient environments
- Responding promptly to patient call systems and requests
Qualifications
- Active New York State CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or acute care setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Physical stamina for lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
