Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to implement patient care plans and report changes in patient condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document daily activities and care provided in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and active Florida CNA license and certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with patients and families.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
