Responsibilities
- Patient Assistance: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring dignity and comfort.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients, adhering to all facility hygiene and safety standards.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient changes, concerns, and feedback to the nursing staff and healthcare team immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, charts, and shift reports.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current and valid California CNA license (CNA I or CNA II).
- Cardiac Life Support: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a clinical, long-term care, or hospital setting is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift patients, and perform physical tasks as required.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
