Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration)
- Provide support during meals and assist with nutritional needs
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately in medical records
- Assist with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programs under supervision
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff immediately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Valid Tennessee driver's license preferred
