Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to residents
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Document care accurately in electronic health records
- Support residents with nutritional needs during meals
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe environment
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings
Qualifications
- Current Kentucky CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper technique
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with documentation abilities
