Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Monitor and record vital signs, food intake, and behavior changes
- Administer medications under RN supervision per policy
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments and assist with housekeeping
- Participate in care planning meetings and documentation
- Support residents' social and recreational activities
Qualifications
- Active NM State CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
