Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and other health metrics
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Support residents with daily activities and maintain clean living spaces
- Administer medications under supervision and document care accurately
- Collaborate with nursing staff to create personalized care plans
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or senior living
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and documentation abilities
- Passionate about elder care and committed to resident dignity
- Background check and health screening required
