Responsibilities
- Delight patients with compassionate assistance in daily living activities (bathing, dressing, feeding)
- Monitor vital signs and report patient changes to nursing staff promptly
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Assist with mobility, positioning, and safe transfers
- Support infection control protocols and maintain clean environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care planning
Qualifications
- Active Kansas CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Passion for geriatric or adult patient care
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
