Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor vital signs and document patient health status accurately.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients with special dietary needs.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and families regarding patient progress.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment in accordance with facility standards.
- Support patients with daily living activities (ADLs) to ensure comfort and dignity.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA license issued by the State of California.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
