Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily living assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, food intake, and patient conditions
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Administer medications under RN supervision and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
- Support emotional well-being through companionship and active listening
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or geriatric settings
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation abilities
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Valid NC driver's license (if transporting patients)
