Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately.
- Assist registered nurses with medical procedures and patient transfers safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients at all times.
- Document patient conditions and care plans into the electronic health record.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
Qualifications
- Current California CNA License (or equivalent state license).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
