Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
- Monitor and document vital signs, food intake, and patient condition changes
- Support daily living activities while maintaining resident dignity and independence
- Collaborate with nurses and medical staff to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments following infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach with strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
