Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient condition changes
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Collaborate with nursing team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and infection control protocols
- Support emotional and social well-being of patients through meaningful interactions
- Participate in shift reports and care conferences
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
