Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report patient condition changes to nursing staff
- Assist with medical procedures and treatment administration under supervision
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure patient safety and infection control protocols are followed
- Support emotional and physical comfort of patients and families
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in District of Columbia
- Minimum 1 year hospital or long-term care experience
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Background check and drug screen clearance
