Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Provide assistance with mobility, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, or using walkers.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and feeding schedules.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, valid California CNA License required.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Previous experience in long-term care or home health settings is preferred but not mandatory for immediate hire candidates.
