Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety
- Administer medications under nurse supervision and maintain accurate documentation
- Support nutritional needs by assisting with meal preparation and feeding
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in long-term care or assisted living
- Current CPR/BLS certification from an accredited provider
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
