Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation
- Document patient observations accurately in medical records
- Support infection control protocols and maintain hygiene standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Adhere to HIPAA and facility-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Active Washington State CNA certification
- Minimum 6 months recent clinical experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of geriatric care preferred
