Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs with precision
- Assist with meal service and nutritional support
- Collaborate with RNs to develop patient care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Safely transport patients using proper techniques
- Respond to call lights and patient needs promptly
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Clear TB test and immunization records
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper mechanics
- Strong attention to detail documentation skills
- Passionate patient-centered care philosophy
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
