Job Summary:
As a CNA on our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. You will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and collaborate with nurses and families to ensure the highest standard of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and compassionate patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics.
- Administer prescribed medications and document treatments accurately in patient records.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with healthcare standards.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the RN or Case Manager immediately.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
- Previous experience in home health or long-term care is preferred but not required.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
