Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and observations.
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) in a respectful and compassionate manner.
- Follow all facility protocols and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required by the state of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory for immediate hires.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (recommended).
