Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and toileting, ensuring patient dignity and comfort.
- Vitals Monitoring: Accurately measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assistance: Support nursing staff with procedures, treatments, and mobility assistance as directed.
Hygiene & Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment according to infection control protocols.- Communication: Document patient changes in condition and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
Transportation: Safely transport patients to and from procedures using wheelchairs, stretchers, or bed carts.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Georgia required.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is mandatory.- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred but not required for immediate hires.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy and patient advocacy.- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift patients up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
