Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor vital signs and document patient status accurately and promptly.
- Assist patients with mobility, including transferring and repositioning, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Respond to patient calls and needs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and infection control standards.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Observe patients for any changes in condition and report them to the charge nurse.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Georgia.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a CNA is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in basic patient care techniques and vital sign measurement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
