Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care to patients in accordance with established nursing care plans and protocols.
- Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) accurately and report any abnormalities.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Maintain patient comfort and safety, including proper positioning and mobility assistance.
- Monitor and document patient intake and output, as well as changes in patient condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR Certification (BLS) is preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with patient transfers.
