Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety
- Support daily living activities while respecting patient dignity and preferences
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free environment
- Report changes in patient condition promptly and accurately
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Compassionate demeanor with commitment to patient-centered care
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
