Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Qualifications
- Valid and active CNA Certification in the State of New York.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
