Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized patient care including bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, and vital sign monitoring
- Accurately document patient information and care activities in electronic health records
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement care plans and respond to emergencies
- Maintain sterile environments and strictly adhere to infection control protocols
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers with precision and empathy
- Support patients with emotional needs and family communication during overnight hours
- Participate in shift handovers and team huddles for seamless continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Missouri CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience required
- Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
