Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities in electronic health records
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision and ensure patient safety protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment following infection control standards
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and address immediate care needs
- Support end-of-life care with dignity and respect for patients and families
Qualifications
- Active Missouri CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in a long-term care or hospital setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification from an accredited provider
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail in documentation
- Compassionate approach with commitment to patient-centered care
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Basic computer proficiency for electronic health record systems
