Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, toileting) overnight
- Monitor and document vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
- Maintain accurate patient records and care documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Safely operate medical equipment (Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, etc.)
Qualifications
- Active Illinois CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospital experience
- Valid CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
