Responsibilities
- Provide direct, hands-on patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist residents with mobility issues, including transferring to and from beds and wheelchairs.
- Implement individualized care plans as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and alert nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Arizona CNA license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in long-term care or nursing is preferred but not always required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, night shift environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Physical stamina to perform standing, walking, and lifting tasks as needed.
