Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with ambulation and transfers to ensure patient safety.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the RN, under supervision.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and family members regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA license in the State of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients.
