Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with mobility transfers, positioning, and fall prevention protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments following infection control standards
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Support end-of-life care with dignity and respect
Qualifications
- Active Nevada CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care or long-term care experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
- Flexibility to work rotating nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in electronic medical record documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
