Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and timely.
- Assist licensed nurses with procedures, medication administration, and medical equipment setup.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents/patients.
- Respond promptly to call lights and emergency situations.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA License in the state of Nebraska.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and transferring patients.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts.
