Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately
- Assist with patient nutrition and hydration while maintaining strict dietary protocols
- Support licensed nurses with medical procedures and maintain sterile environments
- Ensure patient safety through proper positioning, fall prevention, and infection control
- Maintain detailed patient records and communicate changes in condition to clinical staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- No prior experience required - we provide all necessary training
- Current Texas CNA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Clear criminal background check and negative drug screen
