Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning of patients
- Support nursing staff in maintaining a clean, safe patient environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary
- Successful completion of hospital-provided CNA training program
- Current CPR certification (provided during training)
- Ability to pass background check and health screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
