Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to patients including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
- Document patient care activities accurately and maintain confidential records
- Support meal services and ensure patients' nutritional needs are met
- Collaborate with healthcare team to create and implement care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly/ill patients
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Willingness to complete state-approved CNA training program
- No prior healthcare experience necessary – we train motivated candidates!
