Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff regarding patient conditions and changes in status.
- Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and meals.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must possess a valid state CNA certification (or be willing to obtain one through our sponsorship program).
- Strong desire to learn and a positive attitude toward patient care.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as necessary.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
