Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to patients, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Assist with patient mobility, including transferring and ambulating safely.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and feeding schedules.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and concerns.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification required (Graduates of CNA programs are encouraged to apply).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude toward patient care.
- Ability to lift and move patients as required by the job.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
